My Rides to be

A few have been talking about their cars and projects and why not post some pictures of them here. These are my projects at the present time. Hope to get the 69 CJ car done before Spring is here. The 66 Fastback is about ready for paint and the 29 Model A is a long way off from being even started. It has sat for over 40 years in Starke FL.

I can't say I did the painting but my friend did the paint right where the car is still sitting. He used Chroma-Base paint. It was a base coat then clear coat on it and then wet sanded out and polished using a fine cream. Turned out very nice.  The color is the factory color of Acapulco Blue. Thanks

I would mount that 29 on a S10 frame. We just put a 48 chevy 2door on a S10 its working out good was able to a small block chevy in bolts right up I need to get some pics of it

Now just WAIT A DN MINUTE, I still want a ride in that sucker before you let it go bye bye.  There's nothing like that classic ride feel.  Not that the super charger hemi I had all weekend didn't ride great as well.  Keeping them all does get expensive!  Tires, gas, upkeep, (tickets)...  ;)

I'm not a Ford guy but Mach 1 was my first car crush. Got to drool over one almost like this one everyday for over a year while in Spain in the mid 70's. It belonged to the shop owner on the street level of our building. Tried like hell to date her daughter and catch a ride every now and then to no avail but ended up friends with her mom and even drove it a couple of times. Loved it!
