Looks like serious task! Thanks for the sockets, etc. yesterday. Let me know when you want to get rid of one of those sweet pins.
jk, I can't buy any more for at least 3-4 months

The body has now been removed from the rolling frame. Now the really hard work begins.

Looks great.  Now's when the fun work begins.

I have the same tool box.  Great box for the money.

I am going to be changing directions on my Model A restoration. I just don't have the time or energy these days to complete this task. So what this means is that I have decided to sell the project. I have already gotten many new parts for it through various online Model A suppliers but the small amount of body work is still needed. A lot of the hard work of taking it apart has already been done as it is ready for media blasting. Selling for $4500 and it includes all the original parts and the parts I have bought for the car. I need to finish my Mustang now and will just not have time to work on the Model A. One further comment, after the body was removed the frame serial number was checked and it matches the engine number. This means that the car has it's original engine. Rare that it has the original one still in it. Thanks Clark 904-413-7307

Clark - sorry to see you sell your Model A.  What a great project at a good price.  Would make a great Father and Son project for someone who has the room!  You have already done a lot of the work on it.

I'll pass the word down this way to the guys where I work, etc.

Just jumped off the ledge again and bought another project car to work on. Since I am going to be retired at the end of the year I now have something to work on besides my pinball machines and my 69 CJ.
I bought another Mustang and this one is a 1968 GT Fastback in Candle Apple Red. Well worth restoring since it is a "J" code 302 4 bbl. Lots of metal to replace but I will now have the time to do the work.

The tear down has begun and all the needed sheet metal has arrived. There will be lots of cutting and welding over the Winter. There was a lot more rust in the car than I wanted. That can be expected with a car from up North. This one lived in and around the DC area and then sat over dirt for years. Here are a few pictures of the project.

Holy Shit! That's a lot of rust.

Have you made an appointment with a media blaster yet?

No media blaster is needed as I am going to replace all the sheet metal with new. I will post some pics of the new metal.
Thanks, Rick
