Will it still have the 3 way tailgate and be able to haul a pinball machine for FPF?

Great thread!

Thanks for sharing the photos and story.

Good luck with the car.

Now . . . you started it . . . . I want a "burn out thread" . . . lets see that baby run!

Big Al from the arcade section

So I’m still following your restoration thread.  Looks like lots and lots of thought and hard work went into this project.

I still wanna see the burnout !   Best wishes on the final stages of the Vega.

Good thread / story.

Thanks.  Working on the electronics, wiring and plumbing.  The new Dart engine is finished and broke in on the dyno.  Should be ready to run in the car soon.

It was really just a break in dyno session.  The engine is built for injection and the dyno wasn't set up for it.  Un-tuned, wrong intake and carb it pulled 600.  The tune on the chassis dyno will tell the truth.

Whoa!  That’s a pretty serious burnout.  Thx for the late night entertainment yesterday.

My wife’s like “ what’s so funny “ ....  I’m like .... nothing !

Good luck with the Vega. Keep us posted when you get time.

Happy gaming
Big Al

argh. i come back to the thread, and love the progress of the vega.

i'm still working on my '95 rx7 to get it road-ready, but i think back to just @10 years...had a 400HP porsche 930, had 650HP to the wheels in the 300zx, and 425HP out of the 1JZ turbo'd lexus.

now, i drive a 90HP beater civic, and i'm selling my R6, and it kills me inside. :(

godspeed. whoop azz in the grocery getter. ;D depending on how everything pans out, i might go nuts on the rx7 as a last hurrah to a car buildup.
