Has anyone else picked up one of these WiiU kiosks that have been showing up behind gamestop strip malls? I just grabbed one and I was pleased to find that even though it was stripped down and all the cables had been cut that they left a nice commercial digital signage display in it.

i know of 2 people, yes, Gamestop is required to "make them unusable", however, not sure throwing them behind the facility is the "Correct" method for eWaste disposal..

I fix things.. all the things.. but you have reach out first to see how my queue looks. ( all things arcade/pinball/computer ) ... do not do house calls, repairs are generally live streamed on twitch.

They clipped all the wires so I guess it wasn't usable as-is.
They even nice enough to leave it sitting on a dolly.

Hmm so if I drive behind one it might be sitting there for the taking?

That's how I found mine. Turns out I was pretty lucky, some folks have found them in pieces in a gamestop dumpster.
Look on youtube. There are a number of videos of folks finding them or picking one up from a store.
