Here is a quick Weezer story that is so sad it might bring a tear to your eye:

Many, many years ago two of my favorite bands at the time were playing in Jville on the same night - Nirvana at the Jacksonville Coliseum and Weezer at Swisher Hall (the gymnasium at JU). I figured I could see Nirvana again anytime as they were one of the biggest bands in the world and wouldn't it be cool to see Weezer in an smaller, more intimate venue? So ... I went to see Weezer (great show, by the way).

Less than 2 months later, Kurt Cobain was dead and I never got to see Nirvana live. Still as painful a memory today as it was 20+ years ago.

November 4th this month, they're recording new music. Mostly played Pod and a few early Amps songs, even one from the pixies! Their new stuff is great too! ;D

December 6 - Vinnie Moore in a 325 seat theater.  (to any Vai/Satriani/Malmsteen fans, this should trigger you to say "Awesome!")

Yeah, make sure someone is taking a video of the show! I'd ask you, but want you to enjoy it! Get ready for Schenkerfest in April in Tampa!!!  At the Ritz in Ybor I believe... Unless they announce a better venue in Orlando area. I might just go see him in Cleveland also.

As for the last concert I saw... Sammy Hagar and the Circle last weekend in St. Augustine, great show!

Dead and Company this Thursday!!! at the Amway.  Saw them in Bolder last summer.  Had my doubts about John Mayer before I saw them..  Those doubts are no longer a concern, he has infused the guys with new energy and he can still sing the high register stuff that Bobby cant.  Should be a great show going early to tailgate and check out the freakshow that the Shakedown street brings...
