WTB: Rock-Ola 'Bubbler' CD Jukebox - Must be HUO or CQ
« on: October 25, 2017, 10:33:58 PM »
I have one already but my son is now looking for a really nice one, in close to perfect condition.

Please PM me direct, if you have one you are thinking of selling.

Thanks.

Just curious, why not the Wurlitzer OMT or Rowe Nostalgia? I like the Nostalgia the best. Lots of parts available for it.

Haven't thought about the other brands but would consider them.

I read somewhere that all the trim pieces on Rock-Ola are a heavy chromed metal and that the same pieces on one or more of the other brands are chromed plastic.  Just what I read but not saying it is so.

I seem to remember they were referring to one specific brand but I can't remember which one it was.

I owner a Rowe bubbler a number of ago and it appeared to be pretty high quality.

The Wurlitzer OMT uses chrome colored plastic which is super lame considering they were the original manufacturer! I have two Rowe Nostalgias and theyre both very well made. The Rowe uses CD100 parts so there are tons of spares out there. Rock Ola is solid too and i think uses parts from their regular 90s boxes like the Phoenix and whatnot.
