Watched first episode about Star Wars toys.

Thought it was pretty good.

Worth a view.

I think everybody here was "made" by the games put out in the 80s

except jeff. he was created by prewar pinball.

I watched everything except the Barbie episode.

Thought it was pretty good.. not a whole lot of 'new' stuff I didn't know other than the guy who created GI Joe stupidly took a buyout versus a percentage of future profits.. that said I think he got $100k in 1964 which would have been a HUGE amount of money so not too bad for an idea. (The 1% of sales would of course, have been better though lol)

anyone can make a simple 10 grand work for their favor today. if I had $100K in 1964 (you know, before I was born), I would have an easy billion today. basically funding startups is where the cash is at in today's world. that, or go to china and make anything to sell stateside. (I have a utility patent on a magnet speaker...oh, that's right...china don't care.)

in 1964, who knows what would bank vs what would go bankrupt with some other startup called GI Bill.
