replacing a metal dynamo control panel
« on: April 12, 2018, 09:56:45 AM »
Photos can be found here:

but the control panel in the cabinet is metal and the holes have been drilled in all kinds of no standard formation and layout.. I want to turn this cabinet into a Street Fighter II: The World Warrior.. but there is no way for me to just fill in the layout and start over..

any recommendations from people that have done this before? whats the easiest way to get this to a SF setup from its current form?

Thanks

I would cut plugs and weld them in.

The best way in my opinion is take it to a metal shop and have them Reston the panel.  Here is what I did.

I may be interested in selling it as the game I did this for won’t be needing it.

You can see the “before” from the back image
Coinplay Gaming - 754-314-8202
For Sale - (all working, electronically serviced)
Space Duel - Nice Original
Qbert - Restoration - using JRoc
Phoenix - Very nice original
Pac Man - Original Nice condition
Multicade - looks close to brand new (lcd) - has 60-1 (joystick and trackball) , can change other multi game pcbs
