"Retro Super Auction Night" at FreePlay 2018

To appease The Village collectors' withdrawal symptoms from a lack of auctions, may we present "Retro Super Auction Night" after hours at FreePlay Florida 2018...

Your show badge will serve as the bidding card.

We'll have stand-in look alikes for the auctioneers and his side kicks. We'll give him a blow horn. We'll dress the ballroom up by depositing saw dust underneath and around various games for an authentic feel. Random chewed cords will be placed around games. All the Freeplay show cabinet tags will be designed like auction numbers.

We'll go up and down the ballroom "auctioning off" the pinballs and arcade machines with official FreePlay Florida paper money ($1,500 each). Two prizes for whoever ends up with the most pins and for the most video arcades.

Shill bidding is encouraged!

We'll all take our games the next day and feel fulfilled once again... just like back in the day...

Did I have a little too much to drink tonight?

What is a blow horn? I have a few ideas but none of them are very good. Then again I guess that depends on your personal fetishes.

A mega phone is probably more accurate... the thing you talk into with the cone... just a silly idea for fun and not to be taken serious.

Find a fair and mill around the carnies with hundred dollar bills hanging out of your pockets...same effect ;-)
