SNES console, controllers, & 3 carts
« on: September 05, 2018, 01:33:03 PM »
A close friend of mine was helping a buddy clean out his parent's place and was given his buddy's old console since he "was too old for that crap" (wtf?  :o ;)).  Anyway he gave me the console lot since he knew I liked vintage games so it's been sitting in my garage for a year now.  Well, I'm never going to bother with it so I just pulled the lot out late last night to take a look at it.  The console may need to be repaired as I didn't get anything on the screen of my test TV, though the screen did flash whenever you hit reset or power on the console.  The entire lot is still a bit dusty as I've made no effort to clean it or the carts up.  The labels on 2 of the carts are really nice still, but on the Super Mario Kart there is a bit of texture damage to the bottom edge right below Mario in the cart.  It's as if a kid grabbed the cart with some sand on his thumb and it left a few impressions.  The pic highlighting it makes it look awful, but in hand it's not that bad.

The a/c adaptor is Nintendo and I'm sure the component cable is too.  One controller is legit, the other an off brand.  Since the console didn't come up for me (no effort was made to troubleshoot) the carts and controllers are all untested.

$45 plus you cover shipping & fees (or $40 cash if you drive to my place shortly and pick up).  I'm trying to clear shelves so unfortunately I can't hold this until FPF....

I'll also be listing Xbox360 stuff shortly...

I fix things.. all the things.. but you have reach out first to see how my queue looks. ( all things arcade/pinball/computer ) ... do not do house calls, repairs are generally live streamed on twitch.
