I played through half the story of Full Throttle the night before last. The remastered version on GOG is really great.

I've been having trouble getting into a new game recently. I'd really like to be playing one but nothing grabs me. Combination of burn-out (too many games are just too similar), lack of time and probably too much choice is a factor too.

Tried "Prey" (the more recent version) recently. Looks decent, well-made, big-budget, but playing through the intro it just feels like "Oh, it's another one of these..."

DOOM (4) is the same. It's very well made, controls are good, graphics are good, but after playing through a couple of the stages it's just "And the rest will be more of this." - OK, well I've already had my fill, and I've played this style of thing a hundred times before too.

I'd be playing Fallout '76 right now if it was even half-good, but I read the reviews first so I won't be buying that one.

Dishonored 2 might be the one, but I started it playing as the girl, then read that her special movement ability (a highlight of the first game) isn't as good as the other character you can play as, so I might need to start over one that one. I wasn't far in at least.

Or I can just go back to Puyo Puyo Tetris. The "story" cut scenes are execrable, but at least skippable.

I'm playing fortnite some now, and its a fun game but the controls are obviously made for console players with controllers and not a keyboard + mouse.

PUBG added a forth map that is winter themed on 12/19.  Snowmobiles roaring in the distance remind me of winters in NY.

Add garbage and bums for the full NY winter experience.

After all these years, I still play WC3 most nights.  Apparently, I am not the only one as they have updated it quite a bit in the last couple of years.  There will be a "modernized" version of it out this year, Warcraft III: Reforged.  Basically same game with much better graphics (after 17 years) and a slightly updated story line.

It's still a kick ass fun game online except the skill level of players over the years has gotten out of control.

Nuclear Throne - great Rogue-like action game. Hard as nails though. I could probably progress more if I played more, but only I play once a day or so, and when I skip days my limited skills deteriorate quickly.

10,000,000 - it's a match-3 game with RPG elements grafted on. It would work better on a phone, but I've got the PC version. Problem is, it's not even a great implementation of a match-3. It's too easy to "see through" the game and it's basically just "play for a really long time to unlock all the upgrades - then you can win".

Word for Evil - word game + RPG - decent time-waster. I've got it on Steam, it looks like it's for phones too.

I'm just killing time until Cyberpunk comes out. I hope to get into that one, but I'll wait until it's out for a couple days, read the reviews, make sure it runs OK on PC, etc. - no major bugs.

If that doesn't work out there's always the new World of Warcraft expansion.
