Anyone getting calls from Caribe Hotel?

Got a call from someone at the Caribe Hotel asking how many people from my company would be attending the Free Play trade show in November.

It took a while to understand what he was asking-almost seemed like a survey.  Of course I didn't give any personal information, but he knew my name and my company's name.

Anyone else getting these calls?

Yes I got one last week stating they were almost sold out.
They knew my company name, Little Shop of Games, and my email address.
Texted Hamster live time and determined it was a scam.

This is not uncommon unfortunately.  I have been going to a business trade show for 22 years in south Florida and every year the show organizers have to send out an email to dispel the same exact scam.  Follow FPF and wait for their signal, ignore everything else.

PLEASE watch for scammers.  I have attended many shows there before (Mobile Tech Expo) and many attendees reported attempts to scam visitors before check-in.  My friends learned to always call them directly.    Pete
