so...where do you advertise cars for sale now?
« on: July 13, 2019, 02:55:15 PM »
offer up sucks. and they charge after 5 posts per month. the problem with their format, is you get interest for 3 hours. then you fall off due to all the dealer ads.

letgo. straight up sucks. people really think a seller should let it go, and deliver it for free. to another state.

craigslist. charges $5.00 a post now for cars. a good option (for no cost, that is...), but again...after 2 days, the ad falls off the grid.

facebook marketplace. unreal how many scammers are here now. with faces. :P  lowballer's delight.

eBay. pretty good resource. don't know how someone buys a car blind, but they do...in the thousands daily.

i know the village is good. :) but what else is out there nowadays?

For sale sign in the window.

lol. surprisingly, i've sold 3 or 4 cars with zero advertisement over the years. :P

***fixing one in the driveway, sold while fixing the front bumper.

***driving one home, sold at a red light.

***have my 05 civic beater sold several times, just still driving it as it's dirt cheap on gas.

there are soooo many want-to-be dealers around here, you have to weed those guys out.

i don't want to be a dealer...it's a huge headache. just looking for the right azz for the seat. ;D
