Need suggestions for a VGA video booster to enhance brightness

Not sure if this is the best place to post, but...

Specifically, when I connect an XBOX 360 or a Dreamcast via a VGA connection to a 27" trisync monitor, the brightness is much dimmer than when I connect an arcade PCB via JAMMA, and so I need turn up the brightness on the monitor a good bit, which I'd rather not do.

Is there a booster device, perhaps voltage booster, of some type that could help with this? I realize there are VGA boosters intended to assist with boosting the signal over a long connection cable, but am wondering on the brightness.

What monitor? if your connecting to a D9200 you must change the input connection to VGA from RGB.. RGB is 0-5v and VGA is 0-.7v so VGA will look dim on a RGB input.

I believe it is a Weiya C3129 27", and it has the slightly curved tube shape.

The remote board has a switch on it for 75ohm1V or 1Kohm3V, and I'm always using the brighter setting.

Currently everything is connected to it through a VGA switcher box. JAMMA/XBOX 360/Dreamcast are selectable via the switcher box.

I'll reverify how that is actually going to the monitor itself, as yes that assessment is correct it seems as difference in voltage is taking place.
