Sonic is the worst. I get tricked or trapped into eating there somehow every 5 years or so by commercials or family, and each time I wonder why anyone would eat there twice on purpose

Two words... tater tots.

Other than that? yah... fuck that place.

I don't even know how to describe their food. It looks like any other fast food in the commercials, and you think, "Yeah, ok, maybe they've gotten better." But nope, still no taste and weird texture to everything.

It's like they mailed a picture to some foreign country and said "I don't care what you make it out of or what it tastes like, as long as it looks like this picture; we'll take all you can produce"

Then they sit vacant forever when they close. A disposable restaurant, haha

Yeah Sonic ain't great.. they are really only for Drinks especially during happy hour.

They used to have cheap corn dogs that were OK

Most of Hardees food is awful gut bomb stuff.. However, their Breakfast is one of the best in Fast Food.

I guess they have gone down hill? Not really a fast food guy but would always look for a Hardees if on the road looking for a burger. Liked the "Thick Burger" better than any burger from McDonald's, Wendy's or BK. Been a while since I ate there so don't know about them now.
Pins: TAF, FG (not the Ah-Haaa one), SM, FH, LOTR. NGG

It is crazy how expensive fast food is... other day I was running around so hit up McDonalds and its was over 9 bucks for a big mac meal.

They have their menu setup all confusing now so you need to sit there with a calculator to get a deal.

"value meal" stuff will cost you 6 bucks if you get fries and a drink.

I have the same problem with Hardees burgers that I have with Checkers. A small one is OK but if you get anything bigger than that (ie a double, quarter pounder, etc) you are going to feel absolutely terrible for the rest of the day.

I usually only go there for Breakfast and if I do get lunch it will be the smallest burger they have.

Also Hardees does boast a large menu but if you order anything other than a burger they get confused. I waited like 25 minutes for them to figure out how to make chicken fingers once.

Almost every place has cheap options you just have to avoid the combos which are all universally ridiculously priced.

At McDonalds you can get the McDouble and a Small fry for $3, add a soda for $1 and you are at $4 for example.

They also all universally ask you 'medium or large' omitting small which is the price on the menu thus if you just say medium it's going to be a buck or two more than you expect.

The only chain with a legit value combo is Wendys with their 4 for 4 deal which remains pretty good even though their nuggets are pretty awful.

not down here. a mcdouble is $2.09, the large drink is 99 cents (awesome), and a small fries is $1.99.

just sayin...used to get a whopper and a large water, 99 cent lunch. that was a deal.

Yeah McDonalds is very regional. In BFE alabama we found Big Mac combos for $4.99.

We did see the $3 McDouble deal first on a road trip 6 months ago then it hit our stores a few weeks ago so there is some hope you may get it.

Last killer cheap deal was when you could get a Taco, a drink and a bag of Doritos at Taco Bell for $1.99. Did that combo all the time.
