My OTHER custom game?

I am determined to win a twippy award but even more determined to make a better game than dragon Ball z, my new game will be ET(literally the 2nd best movie ever made), all I have so far is some draft ideas on paper this is what ultimately will help me design the playfield, it won't be street level this time. And after I route the playfield I'm going to do the art first and clear, some hard lessons were learned last time, so I thought it would be cool to start a thread here amongst my peeps to track progress. This one will be relay logic "Malone farm engineering " technology again. Now that I have one under my belt the stress of the "will it work?" Questions will be mostly gone. I can tell you this won't be a 3 month project again, so if you're interested let's take a ride baby! I'll be updating here whenever there's anything to report.

Well, as you know, I'm in strong disagreement on that statement.  Nonetheless, I can't wait to see this as it progresses.

The shed captive ball really grab me and I will do it Captain ball will be like a softball going underneath a shed

Okay happy Easter I sat outside and stayed pretty much socially a hermit and designed my playfield on a clipboard it's a very rough draft and I took the RoboCop ramp style jumping over the car idea and the captive ball idea as the softball. I had an epiphany to have ET on the playfield with the end of his finger being an insert lit pointing at the ramp after you complete all the modes you can send ET home when a diverter Allah medieval madness goes down so phone home is represented. The pop bumpers around the playfield will be anamorphic pop bumpers with frogs on top. the car could be bashed by shooting to the inside of the ramp and it can be bypassed with a Target up at the top underneath the tube ramp. The tube ramp in conjunction with the left orbit will be a seesaw up and down the ramp you can shoot either way. The ET Lanes up in the upper right corner are a little odd and I might play with that some more but that will light this planetary spinner for points. There is also a bunch of stab targets along the left side that say drunk that will reverse the flippers for a while completing all these modes "Reese's pieces" will close the diverter to send ET home over the car and into the ship.

I realize left to right it looks tight at the top If I have to I will remove the shooter lane from the equation as far as the physical space it takes on the right and I will use a method like the shadow/baywatch/star Trek next Gen where it sort of makes a game a little wider by removing the shooter Lane, by using a wire form over that same area I did draw the rectangle of the playfield to scale however the left side of the lanes are probably wider than they will be in real life Pop bumpers are definitely a little smaller, so the way I did this last time and I honestly I think it's the best method is to order the parts I think I'm going to use and then place them around
