Did he know you were on this board?  He pretty much hand picked his buyers at the time, excluding a ton of people he saw on here. I know someone who got a bunch of termites-games down south though.  Id be interested in displays and some Bally/Stern boards but I doubt he's got anything like that left.

I didn’t haggle him with pricing. I was pretty upfront and fair with everything I picked and gave them good pricing on a lot of stuff. I may have overpaid for some items. But I needed them to finish a project back down in Miami at the time. As always I’m a good talker.

this future spa playfield came from wayne's world after the whole messed up situation that dude created with the
facebook crap auction scheme.

i bagged, bombed, touched up, sanded, and jimmy auto cleared this thing. it came out nice. i picked up a couple of
arcade marquees as well in late 2018, but ya...all 4 buildings were picked to death, and nothing of value in my eyes was left.

the live termites sprint was still there, though.

Yes, and all the great stuff was gone 20+ years ago.    We bought stuff from Wayne in the late 90's, before he knew the value of machines or what was rare.    (Speed Freak $200 anyone?!)    If anyone remembers Chris Canoe, he got in with Wayne shortly thereafter and cherry picked anything rare that Wayne found (I Robot $300 anyone?) because he made Wayne a generic website (pure wizardry at the time).  Chris and Willie (if anyone remembers him) pretty much grabbed anything good which came into Wayne's possesion from 98-04.    Could tell Wayne stories forever, some good some bad.  He was one of the many characters in the world of arcade collecting.   But the warehouse in Pierson was his 5th and final warehouse.   The best warehouse was his original in Deland, where he had tractor trailers full of games he wasn't sure what was even in there.   Good stuff back then!!

Never met Wayne, but I picked up a few items pre-covid (misc monitor frames, bezels, transformers) and dealt with who I believe was his wife and son.  I assume that the original collector of the arcade stuff had passed.

I'm surprised they haven't sold the rest of it as a bulk deal as what I saw left you would have to have a project and needed specific items and would have to sort through the warehouse to possibly see if it was there, then try and determine a price for purchase.
