Due to my car having an attempted break-in (on the morning of my first day at a new job!) I'm driving a rental Ford Focus. It's okay with some cool stuff. It seems my fav features from rental cars are the gadgets. I loved the HID headlights of the Acura TL. I loved the video game display of the Prius. I wish more cars would come with their nerdy level of communicating mpg and other car metrics, why does it just have to be on this slow, hybrid car? Some mid-90s? BMW I sat in had this mpg gauge below the tach and I liked that a lot.
I love this Focus's SiriusXM radio (also in the TL) and you can change the colors of the floor lights (i'm easy to please!). I like it when cars tell you x miles to empty too. This car has the Microsoft Sync which talked to my mp3 player easily. You could also use a 1/8" plug. I have the SES version so I'm not sure if lower versions have these features. The only issue is that you really need to slam the trunk down to keep the "Trunk is ajar" message from displaying. That was annoying at first, but not as annoying as not being able to open the Prius' gas cap door. It's easy to drive. Good basic transportation. The Focus. It doesn't suck. Good job Ford!
