So when I moved to Florida in 2002 I had decided that I was going to pretty much retire from chasing Pinball machines. I had 17 in my home n California, I brought 6 with me and sold the rest.
I brought a wooden crate that had been used to ship me a playfield I do not remember with me that I thought was empty but might have use someday. It's been in my garage the past 20 years. It was addressed to me at my home in California and was from "Entertainment Warehouse", 1686 Clearwater-Largo Road, Clearwater, Florida". I do not know who that was, "Got Pinball Randy"?, "Russo"? I don't know. I do not remember what I bought, it was after all at least 20 years ago. My AC air plenum has water condescending again and this crate is stacked right nest to it. So I move the crate and its like "hey this isn't empty" So I crack it open and inside is a Gottlieb "Big Indian" playfield # 10226. Its in very good used condition.
Now, I used to own a Big Brave, sold it to "Jeff not Jim" years ago. Ive never owned a Big Indian, Of course doesn't mean thats what came in the crate. I could've put the playfield in the crate for the moving truck.
Kind of a cool surprise for a dull Sunday afternoon!
Its in very good original condition. It is missing some things : plastics, lane guides and their posts. One flipper bat and the lower apron. The only thing of concern is the 5 target drop target stuff is gone.
Like I said the condition of the playfield is very good . Has some crazing towards the bottom of the playfield and I just notices little steel piece that goes across the shooter lane too.
THis would make a great replacement if you have "Big Indian, Big Brave or Big Injun" if you have one where the playfield is beat to shit.
so anyone interested let me know.
Thanks
