Game Over Retro arcade and bar
« on: February 10, 2023, 03:26:09 PM »
Just trying to help a buddy who has opened a retro arcade with food and bar in West Melbourne almost 1 1/2 yrs ago .. If you are in the area and wanna play some classics *not the Japanese rhythm crap* then stop in and pay $15 for a wristband with unlimited re entry for that day. Has about 90+ 80s' and 90s arcade machines with a couple pinballs too.

Game Over might now be a better alternative to Monsters.  The classics at Monsters have been steadily breaking and disappearing.  It's now mostly contemporary pins and drivers.  It is still a go-to if you're into odd-ball Japanese games, but it's missing the classic element.  The EDOT is long gone.  I'm just glad I had a chance to play it before it left.

I have visited AM and noticed the same thing but at the high failure rate of old PCBs and CRTs its a dying breed.  I still find it amusing to see small kids under 10 playing Mortal Kombat or other classics I used to play in Highschool..
