The Eric Francis Memorial Double Header Pinball Tournament - 6/25/2023

On June 25th, 2022, Eric Francis passed away doing what he loved, racing his jetski.



One year later, in his memory, I am hosting a double header 4-Strike Saturday and Memorial Pin-Golf Tournament. The first section is IFPA sanctioned, the second is not.

No matter if you're a tournament player or not, this event is for everyone to celebrate Eric's life.

June 25th, 2023

This is a benefit event for Eric's wife, Sophie, and their two babies.



Main Tournament (IFPA Sanctioned)

4 strikes (Best-of-1 matches. Top 2 players in a 3- or 4-player group do not receive strikes.)
Practice between rounds may be permitted if tournament conditions allow.
Standard IFPA tournament rules apply. More details at the event.
Groupings, play order and games will be randomly generated.

Tournament starts at 10:30 am and ends with the last player standing!

Entry fee: $10 per person

Winners will receive prizes.

Because this is a benefit tournament, all proceeds will go to Sophie.



The Eric Francis Memorial Pin-Golf Tournament (Not sanctioned)

This tournament will consist of 9 machines.

The machines and objectives will be determined the day before.

Tournament begins concurrently with the 4-Strikes at 10:30 am.

Entry fee: $10

Because this is a benefit tournament, all proceeds will go to Sophie.



Both tournaments are cash only. Smaller bills ($10, $5, $1) are preferred.

Participation in both tournaments is not required.

Doors open at 8 am for sign-up and practice.

Snacks, drinks, and pizza included 😋 *NOTE: Alcohol is not allowed at The Pinball Dudes*

Seating may be limited, so bring your own chair if possible.



If you can contribute, I will need additional help for the following, and it will be extremely appreciated:

Extra food (I will provide pizza and chips)
Scorekeepers (2)
Decorations
Prizes for event winners

If anyone would be willing to help with these, that would be greatly appreciated.

Scorekeepers may not be able to participate, depending on the number of players.

Also, all proceeds from these tournaments will go directly to Sophie Francis and the babies. Donations for them will be accepted in addition to the tournament fees, should you want to give a little extra or do not want to participate in the tournament.
