Approved for the 3rd Wednesday of every month, Women's Pinball Tournament coinciding with Ladies Night at the Silverball.

WHEN & HOW MUCH:
Tournament Date:  Wednesday July 19, 2023
Registration & Practice Time:  6 pm to 7 pm
Tournament Start Time:  7 pm

Entry Fee: $5 Tournament + $10 discounted entry to Silverball on Ladies night if playing the tournament.


FORMAT:
Qualifying + Finals

Qualifying:
8-10 rounds of Match Play depending on turnout. Players will be in groups of 4 or 3.

Scoring:
- Groups of 4:  7-5-3-1
- Groups of 3:  7-4-1
- Overall points will determine seeding for Finals.

Finals:
Top 4 make finals

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
This is a public venue and it will be open to customers who are not playing in the tournament. A curated game list of those available at the venue will be used. Silverball will be promoting this and future events to their customers to help grow the local competitive pinball scene!

Food and drink options are available including a bar.

While parking is free and the lot is big at the Silverball, it fills up quickly. Once it does, there is paid street parking, garages and lots in the surrounding area. It may take some time to park so plan accordingly in terms of arrival time.

Idea for other TD’s:
I also added Registration for other events I am organizing and made public (shows as “planned”) so the tournaments are findable on match play as a way to market them a bit for those who search on match play but also to get a sense of who is interested / planning to attend. It has started working and Sunday’s open event has a handful of people already rsvp on there. Also has an automatic wait list for events that have limited capacity. Can make onsite  registration a bit simpler since you already have some player names in the system. The one catch is that people need to have a match play events player account (free) which most do if they use their fones at events to check the matches they are in and standings. Previously I like most others set up the tournament on match play the day of the tournament and made it public as it was about to start but doing it weeks in advance can help get a bit more awareness of it out there.
