Omen 8 or whatever its called and Late night with the devil

Omen reboot 8 had some good moments but was trying too hard and was way longer than it needs to be.

Lots of jump scares and some gross body horror stuff here and there, movie looks nice anyways.

I don't know that I would recommend it but it was watchable and some people seem to really like it.

Late night with the Devil on the other hand I would recommend just because its so out there. It's derivative but what isn't these days.

I liked the first omen.  Not great, but better than all the modern sequels.

Yeah the original Omen is the only one I recall enjoying. Have 0 interest in a modern remake/reboot.

Late night with the Devil was great! Really enjoy it. Moody and atmospheric, uses the 'found footage' format well without being too gimmicky.. definite recommend.

Give this one a shot.  And, go back and watch omen 2 and 3.  The trilogy is actually worth it (80's cheesy I suppose, but Sam Neill plays a pretty good damien)

The original Omen was definitely a ground breaking movie for its time.  Rosemarys Baby was kind of the start of introducing the idea of an evil child, but The Omen was kind of the first to sculpt a character.  The Exorsist was released three years earlier than the Omen but 'Regan' was a pre-teen, not really a child.  I agree with Brian too, the following movies were worth watching and was a good franchise at the time!  Loved the era of suspense and horror during that time period!
