My TAF is an early production game, apparently the art work for the left side of the cabinet was not done so they used the right side art on both sides. "Thing" should be close to the flipper buttons on both sides but my left "Thing" is at the back. I decided to keep the original as it's kind of cool. Rest of the game is basically new (playfield, ramp, plastics, color DMD, real backglass, etc.
My FH is an early game also, came with System 11 side rails, cloud behind Rudy was different and the start button is an "Outie" (not recessed). Same restore as the TAF but did the cabinet.
Now I'm starting my NGG, heat gun in hand strip off 1 side pretty easy. Flip the game over and start on the other side, man, it just does not want to come off. Decide to heat an area until it bubbles, no love. Turns out 1 side was primed and silk screened directly, and the other side had the silk screened vinyl.

Had to be done at the factory as both sides were equally chewed up, corners looked factory and there is no indication it had been previously restored (besides, NGG side art has not been out for long).
Thinking of shooting the cabinet with this for the final block sanding after all the dings are repaired:
