Ton of new chicken places opening

Slim Chickens is one, Pollo Campello I think is another?  Raising Canes is another.  The fast food chicken market is getting crowded!

Shows how slow moving corporations are...

Remember when Popeyes got all that attention for their new chicken sandwich in 2019 or something? (which really wasn't that good).

That got everyone thinking they could go after the ChickFilA huge market share so lots of plans to expand and start new chicken places got fired up.

End of day most will get crushed by ChickFilA, Raising Canes is the only one I think that is doing well.

Fried chicken is what it is... pretty hard to stand out there.

I see Dave's Hot Chicken now has locations in FL as well with their SPICY chicken.   When I travel to Virginia, that is one of the most popular places.

Dammit, why did you tell me that.. trying to eat healthier but Ill have to check it out

I used to go to Nashville for work all the time and tried every hot chicken place there was...

Hot chicken is the the shit (if its actually legit hot or there are heat levels to choose from that is)

This place is the OG but their hot will light you up, their mild/ medium is hotter than most places hot.

The Canes here in Clearwater is always busy.  It doesn't seem that price is a problem.

Nice.. that looks right, good recommendation.

They are using a rub/seasoning not a sauce with is the original way its done.

Allot of places just throw some sort of crazy hot sauce on a piece of fried chicken but thats really not what hot chicken is.

The actual breading has to be spiced up also.. sauce or not. Ideally no sauce at all like at Boltons.
