Old school amazed at today's pinball interest

It was just last week that I stumbled upon this forum, searched the internet, and saw that there are actually pinball clubs and tournaments.  I thought pinball was pretty much dead.  I live in Jacksonville and am interested.  How do I get further connected?

I recommend visiting the Pinball Palace in nearby Brunswick, GA.  They have over 100 new and old pins on free play.  You can pay to play for an hour or two or the whole day.  https://thepinballpalace.com/

If you're interested in competition, you can search for tournaments in your area at www.ifpapinball.com
Even if you're a rookie, tourneys are fun to play in and meet other local pinball fans.
