Atari Jim Thanks (Again)
« on: April 03, 2010, 10:05:29 PM »
Recently bought RFM.  Found about five micro switches not working.

Switch Matrix - anything that says the "matrix" just scares me and makes me thing Agents are going to get me.  After all these years I just don't understand "the Matrix".

Jim reminded me that it's not likely that five switches would be bad and encouraged me to check the wire connections.  Thought I had but I checked them more carefully and, sure-nuff, a wire that looked well connected wasn't.  A bit of solder and four out of five came right back up - I only had to change one return roll-over switch that was actually bad.

Jim always takes the time to try and shine some light when I'm stumbling in the dark.
Thanks to Jim - Again

It took me some time to understand it too, now I rely on it all the time when troubleshooting.  It gets easier, trust me.
