I'm hurting a little from this one.  George and I had been pretty good friends for years now, i'd go visit and he'd buy pizza and we'd just shoot the breeze.  He'd been battling heart problems for some time, but i'll never forget him.  When I was trying to bring a little bigger and bolder style to Free Play Florida he barely knew me but was all in, we'll all remember his wit.  Many didn't know he was a pinball fanatic, especially the Pre War stuff.

I only met him the one time at FPF, but man was he easy to get along with.  Just such a character.  I was the first to ask for a "Brak Show" autograph.  He put a huge "Dad" quote on the front and the first one was already filled out with a "George Lowe Original" cartoon on the back.  I'll post the original cartoon in a bit, but wanted to share.

I talked to him a few times in the staff areas at Freeplay and he seemed like a cool guy.

It's sad to see him pass, especially at a relatively young age.
