REVIEW : CAUGHT STEALING

No, not the Jayne's Addiction Song.

First thing.. the trailer really sells this as a crime caper comedy. It is not. There is humor.. but it's mostly a crime thriller. Every joke in the entire movie is in the trailer though.. so there's that. It's much darker overall in tone.. More Reservoir Dogs than Get Shorty.

It's pretty good overall though. Butler is a bartender in 90's New York who due to his British Punk neighbor (Doctor Who) he gets involved in crime hijinks involving a number of different New York gangs. He has to navigate each of them trying to figure out who he can trust.. something that constantly changes.

Overall good flick well paced and well acted. Give it a thumbs up.
