I did a backup of my 60gig hd, installed and 250gig 7200rpm drive and restored it. Everything was easy and worked. This is how consumer electronics should be for normal folks!

what was wrong with the old console? I put a 500gb in my PS3 for storage  ;D

Well... I called it 'new console thread' to make this Wii/X360/PS3 related. I still have my ol' piano black PS3.
