Just goes to show that the Phantom was ahead of its time.

At least now the technology exists that can support this kind of a service and they're not trying to convince investors that you can get console quality through a dial-up connection.
Still, even now that claim is pretty shaky with connections issues and so forth. I think its a solid business idea, and I'll admit I was skeptical of Steam when it first came out, but now it is pretty much my go-to for all my PC games, so this at least has potential.
I realize that its one thing to provide gaming retail and delivery on-line but providing the game itself on-line is another, but it seems to be the next logical step.
