The scams are endless, don't even get me started with Ebay and their stupidity and customer resolutions.
Here's a few interesting scams I've heard, to consider when selling:
Circuit boards- send a board, they claim defective and get their money back, they send you back their OLD/ broken board, NOT the one you sent
Baseball/ football cards- send a mint 10.0 ______rookie card, they claim not as described, they send you back a grade 2.0 card worth hundreds/ thousands less, if you get ANY card back at all (i.e. you send a Honus Wagner, they send back a Omar Vizquel card that came at the bottom of a Cheerios box)... their word against yours, as they're the buyer, Ebay says they're always right. YOU could be the one who switched the cards when you got your mint 10.0 back, right?
I've quit Ebay, will never sell ANYTHING there again, too much to type...again. Also quit Paypal. Both assume you're guilty until proven....well, even if you have PROOF they STILL don't care, buyer is always right. So, unless it's an item you don't mind GIVING away, don't bother. And if you're giving it away, why bother with all the time to list, sell, go to post office to send, dispute scam? Save yourself the time and stress, let EBAY die off.
