I picked up a converted Ms. Pac cab in not too bad of shape:

I pulled everything out of it and took it to work with me this morning:

After a minute with the front end loader:

I got it for $20 off a guy that had left it on his lanai. It worked and the monitor was in good condition too. Unfortunately since it sat outside for so long it had a pile of sawdust under it. I sprayed it a few times and think I killed everything but still didn't feel comfortable with the cab or passing it on to anyone else. I even thought about the fire pit at Curly's party but would have needed Greywolf to move it and I would not want to put a game that had termites in his truck. It really was a shame because besides the graphics the cab was really nice with only a few nicks on it but termites trump that. Once it was smashed there were no live bugs and not too much evidence of them but they had been there at one time so I feel I made the right decision.

Been there, done that (well, not with a front end loader...I prefer flame!).  It's tough to do, but it's the responsible decision and right call.  Thank you.

i watched dirty jobs the other night, he was doing a story on termites.. it appears Hollywood is to blame! hehehe...

also, termites can't live under water for more the 2 hours, and termites don't like termites from other colonies if they are different sizes.
