No problem with predicting points and scores for every game, im always interested to see what others think, thats what we do here!  :-)  I just wanted everyone to be clear points will be  counted from the last game of the weekend.

SteveO, yeah I knew there were plenty of other greater lb's other than that f'ing raven, I was just blinded by jy Ravens hate at the time... All those you mentioned were all greater.

Damn, that was a pretty crazy weekend of games. Damn horses coach John Fox proves what an idiot he is, and hands the fucking Ravens the game.  >:( >:(  Yeah, just cant depend on Manning to be able to complete a 7 yard pass to get a first down to put the game away, and no possible way Manning could get 30 or so yards with only 30 seconds and 2 timeouts left??? Wtf? Did Fox forget they now have Manning and not Tebow? Quite possibly dumbest coaching Ive ever seen, and Ive seen a LOT of dumb coaching. Unbelievable. I cant believe Fox made it out of the stadium without being fired.  At least the Denver fans got a taste of the heartbreak they dealt Cleveland in the 80s, but didnt need to see it haopen to Peyton, and sure as hell not by those fucking Ravens. Go Pats.

So, with our picks we ended up with a 3 way tie between rud, bit, and bats...so we go to the points.  Rud wins since he was closest to the total of 66 points, wow. Way to shut down Welker, Wade Phillips you dumb ass!

Some great games this weekend!  This is why I don't bet on games because I have no idea who is going to win.  I totally agree with Batman on John Fox's poor coaching moves.  Billicheck let Brady throw the ball on 3rd down at the end of the game and he was able to ice the win.  Russell Wilson looked like a rookie at the end of the first half when he took a sack and ran out of time to go for a field goal.  Pete Carroll tried to be tricky and ice the kicker by calling a time out right before the snap.  The first kick was wide right but the second was perfect.  Then he bitches about the kicker getting a "practice kick".  That is what happens when you call a time out at the last second dumb ass!

I'm not a big falcons fan but it was great to see Tony Gonzalez win a playoff game.  I will have to root for them over the Niners.  Kaepernick was very impressive and should be another great game.  One more week of the Ray Lewis side show.  It's ok that he was up on murder charges.  Let's not mention that with all the praise dumped on him the last few weeks.  Even the pass interference called on him was praised by that douche Dan Dierdorf.  I will be rooting for Tom Brady and Tony G. next Sunday.

Batpicks for this weekend:

Atlanta over San Francisco
Atlanta at home, and hungry for the Super Bowl with just enough talent to get them there. They will slow down Capernicus much better than the lousy GB defense, who gave up 400+ rushing yards in 3 weeks to just Adrian Peterson and Capernicus alone! Could be a close game, but I think Atlanta will prevail.

Pats over the fucking Ravens
some people think I'm biased and full of hatred for the fucking Ravens, I don't know why.
Points: 726 points (Pats 723, Fucking Ravens 3 )

After last weekend it appears that the NFL has banned Defense from the playoffs (that was way too much like watching college football) anyway...

Prior to the start of the season I picked Baltimore and Atlanta in th Superbowl and that is the match up that I would still like to see, but if I were betting I would take:

49ers over Atlanta (Defense is superior and a more consistent running game. Defense wins championships... in theory anyway)

Baltimore over Pats (Same reasons as above. Additionally, being an Oakland fan I want Tommy "Tuck rule" Brady to lose every time he takes the field) 43pts

I don't know or care who wins the Pro Bowl, but my Bat-Shit Crazy pick is that all who decide to watch the"game" lose! On principle I refuse to pick points for the game...

Haha.  I can't say I'm fond of them either ... and in no way would I have put them in the super bowl after their jeckyll/hyde season but alas we get the privilege to hear about Ray Lewis for yet another 2 weeks.

At this point I suspect (hope?) the 49ers match up better than the Broncos or Pats.

OK, last week.

I actually threw up last weekend, I'm sure it's from the fucking Ravens getting into the big game.  Hence, needless to say I'm picking the 49ers.  I'll predict the score as being 35-21.

I haven't tallyed up the standings for the past few playoff weeks, so not sure who's in the lead, or if the Super Bowl will determine an ultimate winner or if it's already decided.  I'll probably get to it early in the week when I have more time... but pick the damn Super Bowl anyway, as long as you pick San Francisco.  If you pick the fucking Ravens, the Batman will hunt you down and you will rue the day.   8)

I pick... The 49ers!  24 to 17

Hopefully that means my family and I are safe from the wrath of batman!  For the record, I hate the a ravens too.  They should all be in jail, shouldn't they?

Betting-wise I would take the 49ers for sure, but I would like to see certain players on the Ravens win a title (Flacco, Rice, Boldin. Oarr) others not so much (pretty much the entire defense).

Lots of young players on both sides of the ball for the 49ers and I expect nerves to play a part early on as a result. The veteran presence of the Ravens could prove invaluable.

All of that said, I am going to make the 49ers my official pick, but state that it will not surprise me in the least if the Raven win a close game.

It amazes me that the "experts" and majority of the public see this game scoring so high...  I see a very "old school" defense dominated low scoring affair.

49ers 14 Ravens 10

I don't want either team to win.  I would prefer the field cave in during the kick off return just like in the Dark Knight Rises when Bane blew up the tunnels.  I'm sure Batman would give Bane a pass on this one.

That being said, I will take the Ravens over the Niners 27-19.  The game could go either way.  I am taking Baltimore despite Ray Lewis as I like The Blind Side dude and I like John Harbaugh better than his cry baby brother Jim.

Jim Harbaugh didn't disappoint with his bitching about the officiating after the game instead of congratulating his big brother.  I agree the refs blew some calls.  Crabtree was mugged on their last offensive play.  Just try to show some class and give the other team credit for a hell of a game.  It was a good physical game which surprisingly came down to the wire.  Kaepernick impresses me more each time I see him.  And the Jags traded up to pick Gabbert instead of this guy two years ago...

Bats 3-1, steveo 2-2, rud 3-1

My points And score prediction was almost dead on, off by just a field goal.  The Batman wins wild card weekend!  :-)

OK, so we left off the end of the regular season with:

<< totals so far as of week 17 end : SteveO has 4- weekly wins, Bry has 5, Bats- 3 , Bit- 5, MattB- 0 >>

Bats won wildcard weekend, so that brought us to:

SteveO has 4- weekly wins, Bry has 5, Bats- 4, Bit- 5, MattB- 0

Round 2/ divisional playoffs:

Bry 2-2  52 pts

Bit 2-2  48 pts

Bats 2-2  45 pts

SteveO 1-3

So, with our picks we ended up with a 3 way tie between rud, bit, and bats...so we go to the points.  Rud wins since he was closest to the total of 66 points, wow. Way to shut down Welker, Wade Phillips you dumb ass!

So, that brought our standings to:

SteveO has 4- weekly wins, Bry has 6, Bats- 4, Bit- 5, MattB- 0
