These are worth a lot of money but I'm not sure of a non-gold one is worth this much. Maybe there's something special about it.. it's hard to keep up with the ultra collectors and what they'll pay for crap.

About 15 unique bidders at the $98K + level, more than likely at least one is real  :)

I'd assume it's fake, as the grey cart is worth about $10k roughly.

But hey, you never know!

Well there's crazy then there's crazy. I assume most norms would balk at $3k-$5k for a Pinball Machine however that's a peanuts compared to a 6 figure sum. I can honestly say there's not a single video game that I'd pay $100k for in any form that's nutso.

But hey, you never know!

But yeah the gray version of this is probably worth around $10k-$15k tops which makes this auction.. odd.

Yea no nwc ever sold for more than about 27k.... and that was a flawless gold one.
a grey one with a fucked label should only be worth $8-$12k max.
wtb nice EM's

If this is legit its just nuts.

Has anyone checked spots like nintendoage to get the low down? Assuming anyone with pockets as deep as this are probably in that community.

Just checked into it... to sum it up the winning bid was about $100k and the bidder retracted it saying his 2 year old did it. It's been relisted as a $65k BIN

Here's the link to the NA thread.. its pretty hilarious. so many stupid speculators foaming at the mouth saying it wouldn't go over $20k, but then they loose their shit when it goes up super high  ;D

This game is highly valuable.  Even the reproduction copies go for a good amount themselves.  I don't believe in reproduction carts, I would like the real thing please but that bid is pretty much 3 years of my pay! LOL.  I wish I could have participated in that World Championship event in 1990... or even the PowerFest a couple years after, but yet I was waaay too young :(
