I hate their stupid predictions, they predict me to be 4-10 and finish in 6th place...because nobody has played a down yet, and I have losers like Peyton Manning, Demarco Murray, Brandon Marshall, Emmanuel Sanders, Andre Ellington, Jimmy Graham....and a few more.  Call me crazy but I think I can win a few games, at least more than 4. Glad Jakk got back from Atlanta so I can crush all his hopes.

I accidentally drafted a broken TE and need another one for the weekend.

Anyone else not impressed with the NFL Fantasy website?  I kept on getting a frozen screen and I'm pretty sure it wasn't the connection on my end (I have a 300MBPS down/150 up connection).  I actually had 2 players that were auto picked, which really pisses me off.  Perhaps there was just too many people drafting last night on their site? 

Either way, I'm good to go and looking forward to playing with Villagers!!  Bring it on!!  First victim, THE Batman!!

Oh crap,  now I have Khabbi all pissed off and looking at me like Tom Brady looking at the Steelers...and we see how THAT turned out! 

I didn't have any problems during the draft,  and we have the cheapest speed possible at like 6mps... so as much as I'd also blame NFL.com...no problem here.   I did do a spybot scan in the morning before since my computer was running sluggish and didn't want it running slow when drafting. That being said, I was a little bit pissed that they didn't send out any draft email notification or a link to get in the draft room when it was live, that's why I sent out the email so everyone could get to the draft room. But what the hell???  I also wasn't too happy that the 9 p.m. draft slot wasn't available but every other half hour slot  around it was,  but maybe it was just an overload of the site at that time.

I posted a message on the league message board as well, but as you all can see I waived the waiting period for waivers for this weekend only since we drafted only the day before the first game. After this weekend it will go back to the regular one day standard waiting period.

Thanks to the batman for this. I needed the trades as I got my ass handed to me by the Gronk last night (damn youuuu!) so have some points to make up come the weekend.

If there's one thing I've learned from playing FF, it's to not count your chickens before they hatch.. I had a really good QB score for me and a decent WR, but your players could have miracle break out games and the rest of my guys suck it up.. I know it's happened way too many times before. 

The draft thing wasn't a big deal, I just drafted two RB's that have the same bye week because of internet lockup, but I'll manage to do something about it before that week. 

Oh, and Jeff, thanks again for setting up the league and dealing with everything it takes to get this off the ground, it should be fun!

You're welcome...and everyone else also. i know everyone appreciates it...and I know going in know matter HOW simple and "easier this year" I THINK  it's going to be, there always seems to be some slight pita or headaches that come up....that goes with the territory, but it's worth it once we get past the draft, and i'm glad we again have enough interest to have a good time and some friendly competition thru the season.  It really does make it more interesting, and I like the comeraderie we enjoy by doing this...so totally worth it. I don't know if I've ever won any money even doing this yet, but think I won a few years ago BEFORE we played for any money.  Here's hoping that changes also, but between this and the weekly picks it does make the season more interesting.

BTW, I think the prize awards will go like this:  total pot= $200... 1st place= $100, 2nd place= $60, 3rd place=$40.

Also, although we didn't have to invoke the "Raikus emergency clause", thanks to Rob for offering to step up and fill in an extra space if we were desperate and needed somebody in a pinch. That was nice of you, even though you already have a full slate of leagues, nice to offer in case needed so the rest of us could play. THANKS!
