Dr Who
« on: June 09, 2008, 06:48:59 PM »
As you may/mat not know The Moff is taking over Nu Who replacing RTD. The last two episodes were awesome showing he is a great writer (he also did The girl in the fireplace, the empty child and Blink).

So good luck to the Moffy, may we never go back to those Mc Coy days.

I thought the last 2 episodes (the library) was so so, nothing amazing, and just seemed to be setting it up for something else, or getting the whole new doctor  ??? or something across, either way hopefully will pick up for a good finale

I think it's time for a new doctor, to be honest not thought that much of this series, I hope it's a better second half.

okay last nights episode was a good one, but nothing 'wow' was more like another setup for the whole Rose thing, which starts next week, not even a whiff of the Daleks or the like this season yet, hopefully they can bring something good to the table for the last episodes of the season.

well the next episode (12) looks very interesting, bringing together lots of old faces for the big showdown, the last episode, not sure what was up with Rose's voice, sounded like she had false teeth in? ???

Every one and his dog is in the final, I'm not sure what Billie has done with her teeth but looking forward to the last two episodes, I sometimes go on OG and debate whats going on did you see a picture of the big bad in the cyber-library?

I didn't like it that much it was a bit hammy and the science behind it was a bit crap, I really hope he pulls it together next week. The one good thing is that we get a new doctor, there is wild speculation on the net Donna=Rani/Master/Romana.

If you have time this is a great blog to read from an Classic Who writer.

well saw the finale, I wont spoil it for anyone that hasnt seen it yet, but was different, and was a really mix of everyone and anyone from any other series, time line etc, kind of leads the way for lots of different things, was not the 'wow' factor of previous episodes, was this the big finale while they take a break? nice to see Davros (with a freddy Krugger glove) but really did stretch the whole story a bit to far  ??? ???

I wasn't impressed it was too much fan-fic and didn't make a whole lot of sense, It could of been written a lot better but no. I getting sick of the Doctor explaining what is going on now you just don't get this much technobabble in BSG to try to convince the audience that its just crap writing.
