Murf, sounds like yours worked out well, on both machines, the Invasion one could well be a bad hard drive, if its PC based board then could be a bad component, either way should make for a good 48 in 1 machine  :)

Murf,

How did you wrestle the cheapo machines away from Kevin (Funky Chunky Monkey)?

He's notorious for the $5 bid and never paying over $100.

Guess his truck must have been full? ???

Ya I saw him there. He kept standing in front of me when ever I was trying to bid. He must have been eating or something. He was bidding on all the not working crap.

Anyone happen to remember around a bout what some of the sit downs went for? I was thinking of sticking around and trying for a project after my mame machine, but assumed theyd be really expensive

Murf,

that's great to hear on your games, congrats!  That sounds like the best score of the day!  And yeah...the chunky Monkey guy was pointed out to me also...I noticed him kinda weaving and bobbing between people while bidding was going on for a few things, don't know if that's a strategy of some kind, or blocking people's view, blocking bidding, annoying people...or what?  Hopefully none of the above and he didn't realize what he was doing... but looked like he had ants in his pants.

Kevin (FunkyChunkyMonkey) is becoming a bit like Dominic (he hung around buying up all the cheap stuff for a buck) he now seens to have moved to NC, Kevin seems to store the machines outside which cant help, and Drexel had a problem with a SF2 Pin I recall

I am almost 100% sure I saw that Missle Command in Winter Haven Saturday afternoon.  There was a service truck, open bed with a lift gate with a MC in the back on Overlook Drive and Cypress Gardens Blvd.  What are the chances?

I checked out the auction as well since it was my first one in FL. Was not really impressed with the selection but interesting to say the least!
Came back last nite from a long road trip from Naples to Maryland then to auction then back to Naples.Good thing is that I picked up a absolutely mint Firefox(MD) and just got online to find out the server crashed? Now my babe avatar is gone?
That Gofers was really nice I have to say!
Will be going to Curly's to check out his collection and meet some folks as well! :)
