« on: July 28, 2020, 02:55:47 PM »
so...this seems to be a hot item with the pandemic. any out there for sale?

looking for 15 feet round give or take, and at least 48 inches in depth. found them at intex, but the shipping is the same cost as the entire pool.

not my idea...i know it will be in the trash in a year or 2 :P

Above grounds are in high demand and installation of them professionally can be as far out as 2021.  The quality of a lot of them these days are actually quite high and should last many years if kept up.

My hygienist was just bragging that her son was using bots to buy pandemic in-demand items right as they become available online and resell for higher prices. She told me he bought an above ground pool for $600 and resold to a family in Connecticut for $1500. Sewing machine bought @ $200 and resold @ $400.

Big money for above ground pools? thats some funny shit.  :P

I had one when I was a kid until my brother literally threw me into the side of it and it broke and flooded the yard.

who needs a professional to throw one of those together? 6 pack of beer offered, with a dozen in line for the opportunity to build one up. :P

reluctantly purchased one. ya, there are actually a ton of scalpers out there. 'murica.

you can make hand sanitizer, but it's still selling at +10 times retail. :)

I bet in-ground is the same way then...  My wife had sent a few companies messages about installing an in-ground pool a couple months ago and we never received replies from them :o
