The fast lock system is really cool, makes for intense fast play, those multiballs are nuts with how it's constantly feeding balls.  It's not a theme or game that I would want to own, but definitely looks like fun to play.

So stern is copying JJP with multiball all day game play(gnr godfather). Bold move cotton! 
Will be interesting to play it. Fomo anyone?

The ball bouncing around the empty bottom 2/3rds of the playfield didn't inspire confidence but we'll have to see how it plays in person.

So if I understand, you can save your progress and levels in the game to the app on your phone and then go play a totally different Venom machine somewhere else and log in and pick up where you left off? Thats some new fangled stuff for pinball there.

Progress is linked to each players Insider Connected account QR code. 

Selecting tournament mode would ignore progress so nobody has an advantage.

Stern TMNT [2020] works the same way.

You get XP and level up your character essentially, which is your account.  Which help you get to higher level boss fights faster and also your level makes the fights harder or easier.

Empty layout, videogame code... how long before Stern starts putting a monitor pf ala p3?
That being said, if the next Elwin goes this way (with a shark navigating the playfield and interacting with the ball for example...) it may not be uninteresting
