private upscale theatres?
« on: July 14, 2025, 11:29:50 AM »
I love me some Alamo theatres but this is some dumb shit..

Maybe they are trying to attract corporate customers who dont actually pay for their own stuff? Like suites at sporting events?

Cant see this actually flying with normal people... there are allot of money wasting rich dopes in NYC though.

Remember when AMC said you could rent a theater for like $200.

We actually tried.. but we found out that apparently our AMC isn't competent enough to actually rent a theater.

With A-List I'm good.

I asked a Alamo guy about this...

You pay whatever for the theatre and then its $100 per person min for food.

So maybe $600 at the low end (4 people at $200 for the room plus $100 each for food) for a few people to watch a movie....

Frankly, just go to the Alamo during off hours and it's close to being a private theatre anyways... get out of there for 5% of the private option.
